Adrenaline Mob Gushes Testosterone, Machismo on "Men of Honor"

Fairly or unfairly, the female species have the reputation of keeping one waiting while they get ready - due apparently, at least in part, to the fact that men do not take as long.  True to the form of their gender, the four gentlemen in Adrenaline Mob have been quick to delight their fans with new release after new release since their formation in 2011.

First, there was 2012's Omerta followed by the 2013 cover album, Coverta.  Now, less than 50 days into 2014, AMob is back with their latest album, Men of Honor. Including a male reference in the album title is rather apropos as the mood of the album is decidedly masculine from start to finish.

Superhorrorf**k Aims For Shock Rock Immortality With "Death Becomes Us"

Here at Helping Hands Rock Reviews, we usually only review releases that are no more than two weeks old.  Occasionally, though, an under-the-radar album becomes known to us and makes such an impression that we are moved to write about it regardless of its release date.

Such is the case of a band we just learned about, Italy's Superhorrorf**k, and their late-2013 release, Death Becomes Us.

As you may imagine from their name, Superhorrorf**k - the asterisks are ours, not theirs - are shock rock.  Their looks are reminiscent of the Peppermint Creeps and subject matter of their songs are firmly in the Wednesday 13 wheelhouse.  Being fans of theatrical rock, we gave Death Becomes Us a few listens and we liked what we heard!

Kat Robichaud Reflects on Her Season on The Voice, Amanda Palmer's Generosity, and Her Kickstarter That Fans Are Eating Up!

Prime time network television is the last place you'd expect mainstream America to stumble upon the next big theatrical hard rock female vocalist.

But that is exactly the scenario that played out when North Carolina's Kat Robichaud commanded the sound stage on Season 5 of NBC's The Voice.  If you can imagine what P!nk would sound like if she grew up in the suburbs listening to Marilyn Manson and Queen, you'd be hearing Robichaud in your head.

She defied the odds - and more than a few Internet haters - to impressively place in the top 10 for the season.  But unlike past seasons' contenders, she isn't content with a decent reality TV run being the pinnacle of her music career.  We recently caught back up with Robichaud to recap her time on The Voice and to get the scoop on her new Kickstarter campaign that will fund the album for which her newfound legion of fans has been clamoring since she first rocked the striped pants in the Blind Auditions.
